We would like to notify you that a new training program
"Responsibilities of designers and manufacturers of railway vehicles and their subsystems under Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/779. Identification and Maintaining a list of essential safety components.” Is being introduced as of right now, in response to the industry’s strong interest in it.
In February 2022, the ISO/TC 269 Technical Committee for Railway Applications published a draft ISO 22163 Rail Applications – Railway Quality Management System – ISO 9001:2015 and detailed requirements for use in the railway industry.
The new standard is intended to replace the existing technical specification ISO/TS 22163:2017.

It is possible that both of these publications will be made available before 2022 ends.
The IRIS Management Center (IMC) released the 2019 Addendum to the IRIS Certification Rules in August of that year. After that, in September 2019, a modification was made to the instrument used for auditing and reporting audit results, both internal and conducted by the Certification Units. The conditions for obtaining the SILVER level of management system assessment were published (previously only the basic - BROWN - could be obtained).
On September 1, the new auditing regulations go into effect. In May 2020, the silver level will be achievable if the right preparations are initiated well in advance. We would like to remind you that gathering evidence must be done at least half a year before the audit.
The latest release of IRIS is getting closer to major milestones, as seen by the release of ISO/DIS 22163, formerly known as ISO/TS 22163:2017.
On May 27, 2019, the European Commission published Implementing Regulation No. 779/2019 extending the certification of bodies responsible for the maintenance of rail vehicles and passenger vehicles.
On June 16, 2020, the regulation comes into effect.
